Dados 2024
O Concurso CaixaImpulse de Inovação em Saúde 2024 atribuiu um total de 3,4 milhões de euros a 29 projetos de inovação na área da saúde. Dos projetos finalistas, um foi selecionado em colaboração com a Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) do Ministério da Ciência, Tecnologia e Ensino Superior de Portugal.
Apresenta-se, de seguida, a informação relativa ao Concurso CaixaImpulse de Inovação em Saúde 2024 e os resultados: número de propostas apresentadas, projetos pré-selecionados e selecionados por área de negócio e maturidade do projeto, bem como a distribuição territorial dos projetos selecionados.

Fase de avaliação remota
Das 413 propostas apresentadas, apenas 7 foram consideradas não elegíveis.
As candidaturas foram avaliadas por um total de 113 especialistas: pelo menos três por projeto.
As propostas foram atribuídas através de um processo de correspondência entre o projeto e o avaliador, tendo em conta a área de negócio, as áreas e subáreas temáticas e a fase do Programa em que foram apresentadas.
A pontuação final de cada projeto foi ajustada com base em dois coeficientes de normalização relacionados com a média e a dispersão das pontuações de cada avaliador.
Houve 16 propostas com uma discrepância superior a 2,5 pontos, que foram avaliadas por um quarto avaliador. A pontuação média foi calculada tendo em conta as quatro pontuações normalizadas.
Fase de entrevistas
Um total de 72 projetos passaram para a fase de entrevistas: as 60 melhores propostas da fase 1 e da fase 2 (30 por fase) e as 12 melhores da fase 3, de acordo com a classificação estabelecida através das notas de avaliação remota.
As entrevistas foram avaliadas por painéis diferenciados para cada uma das fases (1, 2 ou 3) e para as áreas de negócio dos projetos (Therapeutic e MedTech/Digital Health). Estes painéis eram constituídos por quatro a oito especialistas selecionados pelos seus sólidos conhecimentos e área de especialização, além de um membro da Criteria Bioventures.
Com base na recomendação dos painéis de avaliação, sugeriu-se que, das propostas selecionadas, um da fase 3 entrara no Programa como proposta da fase 2, e que duas propostas da fase 2 entrassem como propostas da fase 1.
Por último, foram financiadas 29 propostas: 28 com fundos da Fundação ”la Caixa” e 1 com fundos da Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, no âmbito da colaboração existente entre as duas instituições.
