OBJECTIVES

  • OBJECTIVES

    1. Contribute to the knowledge and analysis of the phenomenon of child poverty in Spain and its impact on violation of the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child.

    2. Guide decision-making processes and socio-educational design strategies for action based on the study of reality and critical reflection on the phenomenon.

    3. Promote innovation and socio-educational action on comprehensive, life-changing care provided to children and adolescents living in poverty and at risk of social exclusion, in the context of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

    4. Create validated systems of indicators for the evaluation of socio-educational action with children and adolescents in situations of poverty and at risk of social exclusion.

    5. Promote public-private partnerships and foster networking between local authorities, businesses and civil society to enhance opportunities for children and adolescents at risk of exclusion.

    6. Share knowledge and reflection produced by the CaixaProinfancia programme with partners, experts and socio-educational professionals working with children and adolescents.

    7. Develop research lines and projects in the field of social and educational action with children and adolescents.

    8. Identify and disseminate the results of the CaixaProinfancia programme.

    9. Document and publicise good practices developed in the CaixaProinfancia programme, encouraging their transfer.

    10. Disseminate and share the programme's studies and research.
