The term for sending in projects will run from 25 April to 3 June 2022.
The purpose of the Art for Change call for proposals is to promote creative projects led by artists that involve the active participation of groups in situations of vulnerability or people from the same environment or neighbourhood to foster processes of social transformation.
These creative processes offer participants the chance to come into contact with art and culture on a basis of equal conditions and opportunities while helping to empower individuals or groups, as well as contributing to regeneration and the improvement of coexistence in neighbourhoods and communities.
The Art for Change call for proposals offers:
A grant not exceeding €25,000 gross and not exceeding 75% of the total cost of implementing the project.
Three meeting spaces that provide the possibility of forming part of a community of people engaged in art as a driver of social transformation.
Proposals for advice and guidance during the development of projects.
Possibility of inclusion in the programmes of the CaixaForum network of centres and CaixaForum Plus.

Applications should be submitted online via the new application for calls for proposals.
The first step in the process is for the person who will be in charge of submitting the application to register as a user manager. If the project is submitted by a cultural facility, institution or entity, after the managing user has registered, he/she will be able to accredit the organisation on the new application for calls for proposals.
All artists, facilities, institutions or cultural entities must be accredited on the new application for calls for proposals, even if they were already accredited on the old app (registrations on the old app will no longer be valid). User registration is permanently open, regardless of the opening dates of the different calls for proposals.
We recommend the use of the Guía de apoyo a la presentación de solicitudes and Manual de usabilidad which describe the steps to follow in order to complete the application process. These two documents are available on both the website and the application for calls for proposals.
